VR headset losing tracking or blurry picture? What to check
Losing tracking is most often poor lighting or dirty cameras. A blurry picture is often down to the lens spacing, not damage.

Never leave the headset with the lenses facing the sun. The lenses focus light and can burn the screens. Clean the lenses only with a dry microfibre cloth.
Step by step
Improve the lighting
The cameras need even light. Turn on lamps in the room and avoid direct sunlight and very dark rooms.
Cover mirrors and shiny surfaces
Mirrors, windows and fairy lights confuse tracking. Cover them or play somewhere else.
Clean the cameras and lenses
Wipe the external cameras and lenses with a dry microfibre cloth, moving from the centre outwards. Don't use liquids or wet wipes.
Set the lens spacing
A blurry picture often comes from the wrong lens spacing for your eyes. Adjust it with the slider or in settings until the picture is sharp.
Replace the controller batteries
Weak batteries cause controllers to lose tracking and drift. Put in new or fully charged ones.
Restart the headset and redraw the boundary
Turn the headset fully off and on again. Then clear the boundary history and set up the play area again.
